NURSE ASSISTANT/HOME
HEALTH AIDE
The American Red Cross
Pioneer Valley Chapter offers individuals the opportunity to become
certified as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and a Home Health Aide.
Day and evening classes are available.
NURSE ASSISTANT TRAINING (NAT)
Our highly regarded Nurse Assistant Training program provides
instruction, skill practice and clinical exposure for those seeking to
develop skills appropriate for working in a long-term care environment.
This course allows you to qualify for the Massachusetts State CNA Exam.
Approx. 110 hours
HOME HEALTH CARE (HHC) Add On Course
This course is designed for current Certified Nurse Assistants. It
focuses on primary care for individuals living at home. Approx. 24
hours.

HOW TO ENROLL
All potential students
must pass a standardized literacy test and provide proof of negative TB
testing. Literacy testing is provided at the Preparedness & Training
Office at 506 Cottage Street,
Monday - Friday
9:00am-3:00pm.
A photo ID is required,
please be sure to have it with you.

RECERTIFICATION
The nationally
recognized American Red Cross “Nurse Assistant Training” recertification
refresher course is now available.
Candidates will review principles required
to take the Massachusetts State Certified Nurse Assistant exam. Class
sessions include instruction and skills practice. Base price is $35
per session, and total prices are dependant on individual needs.
